Have a go at Outdoor Swimming for FREE at our Open Day (Sat 20th May)
May 5, 2017 12:05 amWe are teaming up with our friends at Rotherham Sailing Club and Rotherham Model Yacht Club to hold a joint Open Day at Harthill Reservoir. If you are new to swimming in Open Water and want to give it a try come along and we will provide a buddy swimmer to assist you on your first swim. You need to be able to swim at least 100m in order to take part. (children aged 9 to 16 may also participate but must be accompanied by an adult).
You can also:
- Try sailing with one of Rotherham Sailing Club’s experienced instructors
- Learn about the clubs
- Learn about the sailing courses we offer
- Learn about the powerboat courses we offer
- Just come and have a fun day by the water
Food will be available from Sunshine Pizza Oven as well as drinks and refreshments in the club house.
This is part of a larger national event ‘Push the Boat Out‘ organised by the Royal Yacht Association.

Saturday 20th May from 12.30pm till 7pm.
There will be a normal swim at 5pm till 7pm for existing YOS members.
